- International air tickets to Egypt
- Entry visa in Egypt (currently USD$15 as at June 2013)

- All beverages and items of a personal nature, such as laundry, phone calls etc
- Tipping
- Meals not indicated on the itinerary
NB: If any increase in entrance fees for the included sites on this tour to Egypt takes place, the cost will by necessity be passed on to you as prices are controlled by the Egyptian Government, in which case you will be informed accordingly of the difference in cost.
Terms of Payment for the Journey of a Lifetime Tour to Egypt in March 2014
Deposit: US$1,500 (due at time of booking your tour to Egypt)
Final payment by 1 December 2013
Payments can be made by credit card, eftpos or bank transfers. Please note that if you choose to pay by credit card, there will be a 3% fee to cover our costs for that service. You must supply proof of sufficient travel insurance to cover the cost of the trip in case of cancellation or medical emergency. The full and final payment for the March 2014 tour to Egypt is due on 1st December 2013. If the final payment for the March 2014 tour to Egypt is one week late without prior arrangements, a late fee of USD $200 will be applied. We reserve the right to cancel anyone who does not complete their final payment two weeks after the due date without a refund as numbers are strictly limited for the March 2014 Journey of a Lifetime tour to Egypt.
EarlyBird Special Offer:
Save USD $500 by booking and paying your deposit by 1 October 2013. Only bookings received prior to this date will be eligible for this special offer.
Travel Insurance:
You will require independent Travel Insurance and this must be taken out at the time of paying your final payment for the March 2014 Journey of a Lifetime tour to Egypt. It is highly advisable to ensure that your insurance covers cancellation of trips. Should it be necessary for us to cancel this tour due to insufficient numbers, a full refund will be given but you need to insure against any other unforeseen circumstances.
Tipping:
We take care of most of the tipping needs in Egypt, including the temple guards, bell captains, bus drivers, and many others. Please allow approx USD $350 for all tips which will be collected prior to the beginning of the tour.
Cancellation Policy:
Part of your deposit or registration fee may be refundable if you must cancel. Considerable administrative work is initiated when you register for the Journey of a Lifetime tour to Egypt, including air and travel bookings within Egypt, accommodation and communication, planning and coordination with our tour company. The amount of your refund will be based on the date we receive notice of your cancellation of your booking for the Journey of a Lifetime tour to Egypt.
If cancelled 90 days prior to departure date USD $500 will be withheld for administration fees
If cancelled 60 days prior to departure date USD $1,000 will be withheld
If cancelled within 45 days prior to departure date USD $1500 will be withheld.
If cancelled within 44 days prior to departure date no refund will be made
Pre Arrival and Departure Nights at Mena House Hotel if Requested:
Double room: USD $300 including tax, services charges and buffet breakfast
Single room: USD $250 including tax, services charges and buffet breakfast
If you would like to stay in a Pyramid view room while at Mena House Hotel during your Journey of a Lifetime tour to Egypt an additional USD $70 per room per night will be charged.
Arrival and Departure Airport Transfers During Your Journey of a Lifetime Tour to Egypt:
Airport transfers if requested for pre arrival or post departure outside the arrival or departure of the main group: USD $45 per person one-way airport to hotel or vice versa
