Egypt is a land of mystery and the greatest mystery of all surrounds the pyramids of Egypt. Pyramids are everywhere in Egypt but the pyramids that capture the most attention are the pyramids that are located in Giza. They are the last remaining of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
From the work of Egyptologist Mark Lehner, we know that ordinary every people who lived in Ancient Egypt built the pyramids but who designed them, how were they built, when were they built and the biggest mystery of all – what was their purpose.
The Ancient Egyptians built fabulous temples and tombs and these temples and tombs are located right throughout Egypt. There is much that we still do not know about how and why they were built.
